Venturi Wet Scrubber

Design:

Features a narrow section in the middle (Venturi throat) with wider openings at both ends. The absorbent solution is sprayed into the gas stream at the narrowest point.

Operating Principles:

  • Exhaust gas is introduced at high velocity through the narrow section of the Venturi tube.
  • The absorbent solution is sprayed directly into the high-speed gas stream.
  • The intense collision between gas and liquid removes fine particles and pollutants from the gas stream.

Gas Flow Rate:

High, typically designed for treating exhaust gases with high velocities.

Efficiency:

Highly effective at removing fine dust particles and hazardous gases.

Advantages:
